Kids Area?
The Kids Area is a place just for fun, creativity, and big smiles. Families can enjoy games, hands-on activities, and kid-friendly experiences designed to spark joy and keep little ones engaged throughout the day. It’s a welcoming space where kids can play freely, parents can relax, and everyone can soak up the spirit of Acoustics for Autism—because this day is about making memories together.
Inside the Wayne Street Tent.
Located right on W. Wayne Street, this tent features live music from some of our incredible local musicians, making it a lively stop during the event.
Led by Toledo Public School teachers, the Wayne Street Tent offers a variety of hands-on activities including face painting, a mystery toy prize wheel, bracelet making, cupcake decorating, and independent sensory play. Kids and parents alike will also be excited to see the return of our popular Kids’ Night In / Parents’ Night Out raffle basket.
Please note: this area sits right in the heart of the action. If your child enjoys music, energy, and being in the middle of the excitement, this is the perfect place to be!
Inside the Sensor-Friendly Kid Zone.
Located at the corner of W. Wayne Street and Conant, inside the Sunshine Community Art Studio, this indoor space offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling energy of Acoustics for Autism. Designed to minimize overwhelming sounds and crowds, it provides a calm, sensory-friendly environment where families can take a break while still feeling connected to the event.
Parents or guardians are asked to escort their children into the space. Once inside, families will find a welcoming and supportive atmosphere staffed by dedicated volunteers from ASNO. This thoughtfully designed area is ideal for children who may need time to decompress or simply prefer a quieter setting. Our goal is to ensure every family can experience Acoustics for Autism in a way that feels comfortable, inclusive, and just right for them.
