Welcome to Melomar — your updated beach retreat that captures the essence of Southern hospitality with a splash of modern coastal flair. Located in the quiet, sought-after neighborhood of Tang-O-Mar in Destin’s Miramar Beach, this spacious, family-friendly home now boasts a fresh, contemporary look with light white oak-style flooring, a brighter color palette, and newly styled bedrooms that feel like a breath of Gulf air.
Melomar comfortably accommodates up to twelve guests across four well-appointed bedrooms, making it an ideal vacation spot for multiple families or a group of friends. The home's elevated main level features a wide wraparound porch — perfect for sipping your morning coffee while overlooking the palm-studded yard and the sparkling private pool below.
Inside, the expansive living and dining area welcomes you with soaring ceilings, natural light pouring through high windows, and a relaxed yet refined style. New contemporary seating is arranged around a large flat-screen TV, with coastal-inspired artwork and decorative accents completing the space. A generously sized dining table seats eight beneath a stylish light fixture, while bar seating at the adjacent kitchen peninsula offers additional space for snacks or casual meals. The kitchen itself features granite counters, white cabinetry, and stainless-steel appliances — fully equipped for everything from pancake breakfasts to seafood feasts.
Each of the four bedrooms is designed for comfort and serenity, with king-sized beds, modern furniture, flat-screen TVs, and cheerful nautical artwork. The bathrooms have been updated with granite-topped vanities, and several offer walk-in showers. A conveniently located laundry room and multiple hallway access points to the bathrooms make group travel easy.
Step outside and you’ll find a 14' x 28' private pool with an expansive sun deck surrounded by lush greenery and a large open lawn — perfect for games of tag, frisbee, or an afternoon nap in the shade. A shaded patio just off the pool area features picnic tables, a bench swing, and a grill — setting the stage for laid-back cookouts and sunset dinners under the stars. There’s even a dedicated pool-level bathroom for added convenience.
Best of all, the sugar-white sands and emerald Gulf waters are just a short stroll — or a breezy golf cart ride — away via your private deeded beach access.
