Ticket sales benefit the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department D.A.R.T. programSheriff John Tharp and his Deputies have been working diligently by developing this innovative program, in partnership with the Ohio Attorney General, Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, and others. It’s a community-wide effort to help battle the state’s biggest public health problem. The Sheriff’s resource officers (D.A.R.T.) will investigate overdose deaths, send law enforcement officers directly to hospitals to work with people who have overdosed and their families, and to guide them to addiction resources for housing and long-term recovery. The goal is to divert these individuals from the criminal justice system into appropriate treatment. D.A.R.T. now has seven sheriff’s deputies, (working a first and second shift so as to be able to be more aggressive in responding to the hospitals as people overdose), a sergeant, part-time lieutenant, and two counselors. To meet the growing demand for treatment, there is a need for more resource officers, advocates, recovery housing, computer equipment, etc.

Project iAm is a 501c3 100% volunteer based organization developed in 2008 to help families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The only charity of its kind, Project iAm gives scholarship money directly to the families to pay for ASD therapies, treatment, diagnosis and anything that is helpful to their ASD desires. Coming off a highly successful year with Acoustics for Autism and most recently, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Project iAm is working together with D.A.R.T. to bring you an affordable night of classic rock in Toledo.

Please consider a sponsorship of this event, as any costs that are offset will directly benefit D.A.R.T. and this growing epidemic in our area.

International recording artists Skid Row have been supporting Toledo and Project iAm since its inception. Come out and have a great night, for two amazing causes, filled with local and national level music from 6p-2a!
