Project iAm, We would like to express our gratitude and thankfulness for everything you have done for our family, for Dakota. Not only with the scholarship for swim class and the sensory items for his playroom and backyard but for welcoming us into your family and allowing us to be a part of such an amazing loving and caring community. A lot of times when we tell someone Dakota is Autistic, we get the dreaded “I’m sorry” my response to this is “there is nothing to be sorry for”. Dakotas Autism has changed the way my entire family looks at life, the way we look at others. It has opened a whole new world of caring and giving to us that truly we didn’t know existed. Not only have we received numerous gifts, but we have been given the opportunity to give back, to donate, to volunteer, to advocate for others, and simply be there in their time of need. We have made what I can only hope will be lifelong friends and acquaintances. This is the true gift. I would like to send a very special thank you to Nicole for everything she does. This women is a rockstar and I can only hope to be a fraction of the women she is one day. All the organization she puts into these events, the scholarship work and simply replying to an email with speed and accuracy. Nicole is truly amazing and on top of all this she works, takes care of her family and sings in the band … I mean come on!!! She’s amazing!! So, with every bit of our hearts, we want to thank you ALL for EVERYTHING you do and please always keep me on the top of your volunteer list <3 Thank you, The Duslak...
